Born in Worcester a city rich in history and character it’s here my love affair with photography began.

I’ve shot in colour for nearly 40 years now, but it was only last year that I found myself truly drawn to the timeless elegance of black‑and‑white imagery. By stripping away colour, the noise falls away, leaving only the essentials: form, texture, and the quiet interplay of light and dark.

For me, monochrome isn’t just a style — it’s a way of seeing more clearly.

Street Photography

There’s no better pairing than street photography and black and white truly, a match made in heaven.

No two days are ever the same. Whether I’m wandering through the hustle and bustle of London or exploring my home city of Worcester, there’s always something happening. A fleeting moment, an interesting character, a play of light and shadow you never quite know what you’ll find around the next corner.

For me, that unpredictability is what makes street photography so exciting. It’s the thrill of hunting for those brief, unscripted moments that might otherwise go unnoticed, and capturing them before they disappear.
